Look in the last place you would expect to find them. It is surprising how often I find lost things because I look where they are not suppose to be. Like finding the bread in the plate cupboard and the missing keys in the freezer.

Happens to me too-things just "hide" right under my nose-take a break, eat some chocolate, and go back and "casually" look-sometimes, you have to "fake 'em out"-make 'em think you don't really need to find it, and they will come out of hiding in plain site! LOL! Seriously, I really hope they turn up soon-you know they are there SOMEWHERE-they didn't just up and fly away with their angle wings on their own!

Here's hoping that you've found them by now, but just in case, I have a suggestion: go buy a gift, wrap it, and put it under the tree. If all else fails and they don't show up, you'll be prepared. If the best happens and you find them as you walk in the door, you can return the purchased gift in a day or two. Either way, Christmas is good.
I find that as soon as I remake, replace, rebuild, re-purchase, re-whatever, I find the misplaced items.
