My dh went to a knife and gun auction in Milford DE, and was the high bidder on a featherweight made in 1948!!! for $160!!!! She has a bit of a musty/oil storage odor , and he will be taking care of her needs. She joins 4 sisters, we may be putting one out for adoption to a good home, if I can bear to part with one. I am looking for names, I am thinking Little Lucy, I have Little Lula already, Goldie Oldie (from 1930's), and Sexy (1960's). Right now I am calling her Little Stinker. Any suggestions for my new girl?

Does every gun and knife auction have featherweights too? That is so funny. Your DH is a sweety and a keeper.

What a sweetie. I received mine for Mother's day from my Hubby. She's a 1948 also. I love taking her to class. She's nice and easy to carry! It's funny, she was born the same year as my mother. I thought about naming her Sharon, after her, but mom and I seem to have love/hate relationship sometimes and I did NOT want to jinx my new baby!

You know that money probably came out of his mad money for a gun or knife that he was hoping to buy at the show... He deserves a special dinner tonight! What a catch!
