I'm guessing not so good since he told me to trash the project!

I wouldn't fret about the mistake. That will make the quilt unique, one of a kind. I myself prefer to make a quilt as individual as I can. I do it because no one else wants something exactly like anyone else has. I would love to see a pic though. I would finish it and give it to a charity. That is my way of throwing it out. Then because your DH suggested it have him go with you to purchase the fabric to replace what you threw out. He will bite his tongue next time. Exspecially when he pays the bill. lol.

Whenever we go fabric shopping he never blinks an eye when they total my purchases. Guess I am very lucky that way! Many times as we leave a quilt shop he will ask me where the next one is.

Holy Hannah! Does he have any idea how much work went into it? Or how much fabric is going for these days? I would think it is worth saving, even if the dog gets to keep it.
