As I have said before, I have the Haskins Perfect Quilt Express and am not happy with it. Decided to get my self EQ (since Santa forgot this one item  ).

I know that many of you have these programs. I am thinking of purchasing it and found both versions still available. For those of you who have upgraded to 6 - is it better? do you prefer it? is it easier to use? I cannot decide which to buy from the written descriptions. Would love to hear your opinions. Thanks.

This page shows the updates that went into EQ6.

I would buy EQ6 if possible. It is more user friendly, and it has more features than EQ5. If you buy either one on ebay, be sure that you are getting a new copy that has not been previously installed.

I have both. Yes, EQ6 is better! :-D
One feature that I particularly like is the added tutorial videos. These are short clips, directly included within the program.

I love the quilt used to designate your reply.....did you actually make it or is it a photo? this Grammy is not yet up to that difficulty (I think), but need to say that it is gorgeous....

i have EQ5 installed and i'm very happy with it.

i have EQ6 and i haven't installed it yet. it was a gift from a friend and i have a serious problem with only being able to install it 4 times.

had i actually installed the software when i rec'd it i would have used up my last installed 2 weeks ago.

this isn't software that you own - you're renting it for 4 installs and then you either pay more money for more installs or you don't have the software any longer.
