I have been doing this maybe 5-years.
They go to a women & children"s abuse shelter.
They in return get them to where they are needed most.
I am also taking on adding in the foster children program this year.
Kids being yanked from their homes with nothing but a quilt is sad. So my quilts will be warm and snuggly because they will hold a lot of fallen tears from these kids.

I spent $40 at Hancocks and another $40 at the Singer store. Hancocks had the titanium scissor set on sale for $9.99 and I grabbed that bargain quick.

I walked into our local Joann this morning & turned around and walked out... There had to be 50-75 people at the cutting table... And almost that many in the checkout line. :!:
Total paid was $ 458.68
all fabric
In and out in 2-hours.
this usually takes alot longer.

I WAS SO surprised at the amount of time.
Most of that was at cutting table.
First thing I did when getting into store was to grab a cutting number then go shopping. Cuts down on wait time.
I also bought a lot of sealed bolts so they only had to scan and NOT roll out and measure. ;) ;) ;)
