    I've never experienced this but will certainly watch for it now when changing blades. Thanks!

    you are definitely not alone. I have done that and more than once. Those darn blades are so thin and I am really concentrating on NOT cutting myself but it sure does make a difference when you cut fabric with just one blade instead of two.
