Love that pattern and it would be perfect for Prayer Quilts we make at our church. Can you give the the cut sizes for the four pieces in each block and the measurement of the finished block? Love your variations and color choices. Cheerful quilts.

Thanks to everyone for the help--you all are awesome and a wealth of information! I think I got it! Gcathie--did you make 4 blocks and then split them apart and then combined a section of each block to get the 4 colors in your pastel one? It is beautiful!!!

I am working on a d9p too. I am using 4 colours, including some black denim from son's old jeans. I was having a tough time getting the pattern laid out right, which surprised me cz I thought it was 'simple' and it is, ONCE you get it right. :D

Thanks for your reply BUT can you tell me the measurements of the four individual pieces that make up one block. Measurements for the 15" block. I'm sure I could make my own pattern, but I'd rather cheat and have you tell me if you would.

Bev- you can do it! You make an awesome 9 patch- you just have to cut them up (see Cathe's first pic) and then reassemble.
Hey, even I am going to try it and you know how I'm such a wus about learning something. I'll experiment and if it doesn't look good, off to the scrap bin to make something else.

the pastel block is 9.... 3 inche blocks......which makes the nine patch.......then you cut in half....as said....(look at photo's)
the other one is 9.... 5 inch blocks......made into a 9 patch.....then cut down the middle to make four turn the way you want and sew back together...good luck you all can do this....once you get the hang of it ,,,It is fun to do
