I seriously recommend trying it for this, it won't look anything like this when it is done, this particular block can transform some of the ugliest fabric to something different,

Not that is was ugly fabric, this started out as chilly peppers, if you look really close at the border you can see some of the original print, (I can't find th epicture that I had of it)

Oh yea I love that fabric I think I have some around here.
I always have to practice 1st and then go for the big picture.

but what ever way that you need to approach it, look for the size of the print and the color, the pattern is sort of secondary.

Cute, I will be starting another OBW. I have a 24 inch repeat. I am thinking to do 3.5 inchs strips. I will post a picture once my batteries are charged.
