It looks pretty good as is, but if you are anything like me - everytime you look at it, you will wish you had fixed it...

Having noticed it you will hate the quilt after a while. Someone here mentioned flipping the short sides. If that is possible do it.
What was the quilt inspector comment? Perhaps he will help.

If it is going to drive you nuts...fix it! I am extraordinarily self-critical and tend to beat myself up about the most trivial things, so I'd get ripping. I do however think it's beautiful the way it is....Not much help am I....by the way, I really love what you have done and your little helper looks like a real sweetie.

For what it is worth I would keep it just the way it is. Both top and bottom are the same and both sides are going the same way. Looks good to me.

Please give the quilt inspector a big hug from me.

I'd leave it. It looks beautiful and I wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't mentioned it.

i think it looks fine just the way it is... if you hadn't pointed [no pun intended] it out, i wouldn't have given it a thought

I purposely looked at the picture before I read what you thought was a mistake. My guess was that the top and bottom borders were facing the wrong way. It looks lovely as it is, but if you aren't happy, I think turning the top and bottom borders would look nicer than turning the side borders.

I love your color combination....so pretty!

If it was me, I would have to redo it. It would always bother me, but then I am kinda anal about things like this!
