I buy mine in the grocery store. I have not used or have not seen by oxiclean but I really do like the ones from Shout. I too use them in my laundry when I have something that I think might fade. They are great.
I used a Shout Colorcatcher yesterday with two small charity quilts. Not colors I thought would run, but quess what? The Catcher came out very dark so guess something ran. I use them all the time and KNOW I "catch" dyes that wash off. If you are in doubt, try one. That's what I did and now I use them all the time....:)

Most grocery stores carry them in the department with laundry products.

I use the Shout brand and washed a whole tub of fabrics that I didn't think would run. I was wrong, and very grateful that I used the colorcatcher. I never use hot water, but washed greens and blues in warm ... I was amazed!

I have used the Shout Color Catchers-they work. Have also used the Color Grabber (for 40 washes or more) from JoAnn's--these work great too.

Haven't tried the Oxi clean ones.

I have the ones by shout and I was shocked to see how much color one caught on a fushia colored blouse . So yea they work good and ya don't have to just use them for fabric.

Where do you purchase the Retayne?
