Default Do you decorate/adorn/trim your "modern" machine?

The old decals are so pretty on some of those machines with the black finishes.

Do any of you decorate your white plastic cased machines? and if you do - what do you do?

The idea never occurred to me to do anything more than to put an address label on the bottom of the machine and any parts that can "separate" like cords, foot pedals, cases, and accessory containers.

I like to cover mine with a pretty quilted machine cover, but don't do anything to the actual machine ... except labeling it as you mentioned. Which reminds me that I need to make a new cover for my new machine. Although it's useful to keep dust off of my machine, the plastic cover it came with is unattractive.

How modern? I have dark pink roses for my Singer 301 from 1956. The tan needed something. I bought purple ones for my light blue Elna from 1972, but she was insulted so I never applied them. They can go on the other 301.

My friend Patricia Ritter sells absolutely gorgeous decals in her shop.

I've known non-quilters who have even put them on their mixers, bikes, etc. Fun!!

Yea! My HQ Fusion is getting butterflies!

Now to figure out how to get rhinestones on it.

Think I'll put some on my pink MP 15-22 too!

I've seen some painted FW's that are gorgeous, but never thought about decorating the newer machines. The Janome that Kalamaquilts posted is wonderful!

those rhinestones have a tacky backing, the design just peels up and sticks on. Might wipe down the areas you want to decorate with some rubbing alchol so time and grime don't interfere with stickability

I got them in the scrap booking rubber stamp area

When I was looking at new machines my 20 year old autistic son wanted me to buy a Husqvarna because he liked the name.

I bought a Pfaff. The following Christmas my only gift from him was a large Husqvarna sticker. I put it on my Pfaff and it still makes me smile.
