I don't know about dreaming, but when I'm having trouble falling asleep, I think about fabric. It helps.

I dreamed while awake about an embroidery machine when I saw an ad including a free Kindle and $100 Amazon gift card. I really woke up when I tracked down the price -- $9,000! I already have to live to 120 to use up all my fabric. With that purchase I'd need to live even longer to justify it.

I must dream about quilting (and don't remember it), because I often wake up with a solution to the problem I had yesterday. Sometimes it's even the RIGHT solution.

while i have dreamed about quilting and my fabric I think that the "scariest" dream I had was my fabric multiplied like bunnies and then fell over on me and tried to kill me. (drowning by fabric) hehe. that is a good way to go I guess. drowning in your fabric stash. hehe. The only other way I would want to go would be at the age of 100 and going like rabbits with my hubby.

I dream about quilts I want to make. I then have to get up and write the idea down with a quick sketch, or I will forget about it.

This morning I looked through my stacks of quilting books and quilting magazines two times for a quilt pattern book titled "Triangle Quilts" and couldn't find it. Then I realized that was a pattern book I dreamed about last night, and it doesn't exist in the real world--or at least, not in my real world.

Hello cjomomma - I don't dream about my projects, but when I wake several times in middle of the night, my mind often works overtime and keeps me awake for a couple of hours or so - sometimes get on the pc to check mail and search for new embroidery designs etc, even play Freecell until i return to bed and sleep for a few more hours - once awake, I like to stay awake!!! Love your reply Pam and agree with it.
