we have showers for all moms, too. Not just first timers. They all need the love and support, and we like the chance to share in the joy.

I think showers are wonderful, not the burden some folks like to make them out to be. I say pamper 'em, gift 'em, praise 'em, and pray for them. Lord knows, new Moms quickly take a back seat. Heck, if I had another one,I'd love for some one to throw a shower for me. (and I know they would, 'cause I'm 64!)

I have the same problem. When it's done I give it. I'm making two baby quilts for girls at work and I'm not waiting for the shower. There are theirs when I'm done.

Heck yes! In fact, I've gotten so excited about a quilt that I tell the recipient before I've even started on the project; which can be bad if the project takes longer than expected or worse, turns into a UFO!
