I have made myself do some sewing, then I can get on this site. If I don't do something creative then I can't play on my computer. I really, really try to keep to this. :?:

OK this is what you do: You find a sewing buddy (preferably one that has NEVER HEARD of this site!) (and DON'T tell them about it either!) to set up Quilt Sweat Shop with. Then you sew together and never look at the computer while the sweat shop is open!!!! Good Luck!

I only wish I could find a sewing buddy! I live in the boonies and everyone knows that this is my life right now!

I know that I'm on here too much instead of sewing. Last night I did manage to pry myself away and work on some quilt borders. I'll eventually get this quilt top done, won't I? lol

I do it in spurts. Sometimes I'm here every 5 minutes. Sometimes its a day or two. I do check but don't post on everything I read.

right there with you! I have a laptop so find myself checking things out between TV, reading & knitting in the evenings. Talk about multi-tasking.

It's a fun diversion. It doesn't take any time away from my sewing. I mostly sew at dawn, as soon as I roll outta bed and get my coffee, and also sew on weekends.

I quilt for clients every day. When I take my breaks, I sign on>> look at pix, get inspired, post, play a word game. It's harmless fun and I actually learn some stuff too. It's all good.

Don't sew as much but I have to get back in the motion. I have 2 quilts to make for xmas and a rag quilt to finish,
Placemats, and a queen size quilt to quilt.
