Yes, I have a lot of grey. I love black and white and grey together with a splash of red. Also, I love Christmas fabrics in the black/gold/silver/grey combination. My collection of greys started when I saw a DWR years ago done in greys on a white background with a big spray of bright flowers in the upper corner flowing down the edges. It was gorgeous. Never got around to making my own version though.

I have a beautiful silver gray fabric purchased for my black, gray, red, with a touch of white quilt. Part of my attempt to bring a contemporary touch into my eclectic/shabby decor.

I have quite a few pieces. I've been making the Farmers Wife Sampler quilt blocks and have used several of my gray fabrics in the blocks. I think it's important to have a selection of gray fabrics, especially for scrappy & sampler quilts. I always think of "neutrals" as different shades of ecru to light brown; if I am correct, then grays are the other "neutrals"; they work so well with blacks, blues, etc.

I love using gray with brights and black. It is rather hard to find in my area.

I do have greys,,, some has roses on it, another has a charcoal color vine. They do blend well with certain fabrics.

Lots of gray fabrics in my stash. I use it a lot as transitional fabric and with black.
