I'm not crazy about gray. I've got a bit, but mostly for use in B&W tops or applique. As a design element, I think it lacks something, but then I prefer bright and colorful.

I use a lot of grey colors. I prefer the blender or batik shades of grey. I am an avid Alabama fan and it goes very well with the Crimson color.

I have some grays and am finding that it is a staple color like black or white, goes with any thing and I seem to be using it more and more. Deb

No. It's not a color I use very often.

Yes I have about 2 yards of gray/black marbled fabric that was in a huge trashbag full of quilting fabric given to me by my friend Nancy's husband after she passed.

I have a small amount of true gray. I have been collecting dark gray (gunmetal or hematite?) to bind a super bright very colorful quilt but the other grays I have are few, and mostly printed in some form of pattern like rocks or slate or such.

Since I have just started stash building this year my collection is relatively small. Focus fabrics are easy for me to find and this year I have forced myself (with a good bit of success) to seek blenders and neutrals. I think the next thing I'll have to focus on is pales so I can get contrast in values, almost all the fabrics I 'see' that call to me are darks.

I use gray all the time, I love it with burgundys, greens, blacks, and certain blues. I for one am glad that grays are being included in the new collections.

I love gray, I used lots of minty green with it and I love using red w/gray also. I do lots of men quilts and the gray worked really well.

I just saw two quilts with grays - one was light grays with light blue and white, and the other was grays, white and bright yellows. Both were really pretty.
