I started a journal on 1st January. Did well for a while then lapsed. This thread will get me motivated again. Thanks.

I also keep a quilt journal. The name of the pattern, where I found the pattern, the date. Throughout the piecing process I make notes on size of blocks, or the embroidery designs.
I add the longarm quilters name. At the bottom of the page I write who I gave the quilt to. Whether it was a baby shower/birthday/Xmas gift. On the back of the page I may add pieces of the fabric used. And always include a photo of the finished quilt. The notes always come in handy when I want to check on a specific technique,etc.

I have a scrapbook. I take pictures of the quilt, a photo of the person I made it for with their quilt, name of the quilt, how it was made and why I picked the pattern (if I had a reason)
