Do you know this Dragonfly pattern name?

I have the book by Annette Ornelas called "Peeled-Back Patchwork: Curves Without Piecing. It shows the techniques just like the dragonfly you found. This book has a dragonfly in it, but somewhat different than this one.

I have the Peeled-Back Patchwork book too, and made the Enchanted Rose Garden in a class from the LQS. I'm not a big fan of that method. It does produce curves in the quilt, but I didn't care for the thicker areas in the quilt where fabric is doubled over so much and then stitched down. I might use it for a wall hanging, but probably not for another lap or bed quilt.

I bought this pattern and it is on my "to make someday" list. I saw it at a local Quilt show made into a quilt. They used blue and purple and green and, burgundy batiks for the dragonflies and an ivory for the backgroud. It is one of the my favorite quilts I have ever seen.

It is Dance of the Dragonflies by Southwind Designs. Here's a link: http://www.southwindquilts.com/shop/...sku-SWD321.htm
