I have used and am using both Kona and Bella. I do believe both are "lighter" than what we use to see in the older Kona.....I'm sure it's a cost factor. That said, I find more color selection in the Bella line. ALL of the stuff frays anymore......Moda has gotten really bad.....thinner fabric and looser weave....again, the cost factor( IMHO )...

Never used Moda Bella but the Kona solids I use for napkings to place mat sets.

I really love Moda Bella. Kona cotton seems to be a coarser weave.

Well, Moda is my favorite fabric manufacturer. But, I prefer the Kona for a solid. I think Kona is a little heavier than the Moda Bella.

I really like Kona Cotton. I have never heard of Moda Bella or used it. I will have to look for some and try it sometime.

I have not heard of Moda Bella---will have to keep my eye out for these solids. Of the ones I do know about, I like Kona the best.
