I use the two machine feet and like to hand quilt too, although I don't have a project going right now. Should get one ready for the cold weather.

I don't hand quilt at all, or pick up a needle at all if I can help it. I use both my walking foot and free motion, depending on what I think the quilt needs. I'm not an experience fmq'er, but can do loops and meander without much trouble. Also like to just free hand some flowers and things in there if the space seems right. I like both, but would have to say that the quilting is not my favorite part, but I love to finish my projects, so I just do it.

Yes, Isewman, you don't have time to handquilt. You're too busy making quilts.ha. You must have the stamina of a gazelle. Barny

I do mostly FMG, I love the looks and I love doing it. I could not live without my Darning/Quilting foot.

Well I could live without them but, I would not want to.

I quilt by hand. I just like the look of old quilts and if I hand quilt my new ones look like they are older.

I have grown to love walking foot quilting over the last year. I've done very little hand quilting but would like to try more of it on small projects.

I'm hoping to gain confidence with FMQ this winter. I'd like to be able to do enjoy doing all 3!

For sure the FM foot. I use the walking foot some and like it too. I prefer to free motion most of the time.

I like the hopping (FM) foot, open toe, for designs and the walking foot for SID work.

I have never done any hand quilting; but I love using both my walking foot and my FMQ foot. I sometimes use my FMQ foot to stitch in the ditch because it is easier for me to move the quilt around using it. I am so enjoying quilting even though my machine has a small throat space. I am finally getting to the point that I think my FMQ looks good.

I am definitely a hand quilter nothing better than sitting down in the evening with a snuggly quilt on my lap - don't use a hoop either.
