I'm not fussy I love them all -Some times I will let a quilt hang on the wall rack til the right design screams out at me.. I'll make practice blocks which then get used as patches on my brothers and nephews jeans -they are all roofers and my QPs last a long tme They are a very colorful crew :-)

Definitely Non-traditional! Outside the box Art Quilts are a magnet to me in shows! I like to make whimsical funny pictorial quilt blocks and whole quilts. Some of you got "Shoedogs" and "Shoecats" and "Dancing mice" blocks in recent swaps that are examples of that kind of outside the box blocks I thought up.
I like to laugh while I am putting those swapped funky blocks together.
I make traditional quilts sometimes too though because they are fun to sew and easy to do. When I make those, colors are most the most important element. I have an all shades of orange and yellow rail fence for instance.
