Quilts, table runners, wall hangings. I love the look of a pieced quilted jacket, but have never made one. Maybe I should add it to my bucket list for myself for next Christmas! I made cloth dolls of all kinds for years to sell at craft shows/stores. "The Dollmaker" was my official business name.

I've quilted fabric before sewing it into something else. I've quilted fabric for my dining chairs before recovering them. I've been making double fabric covers for tablets adding a velcro closing and a small slot at the top for the pen. I quilted the fabric made from blocks and made them into cushions for my outside furniture.

Whenever I feel like doing mindless sewing I use 2.5 inch blocks and make potholders. My husband is always cooking up a storm and likes using them.
Unless they are a gift item I don't even use binding. Totally utilitarian.

Oh yes! I have quilted everything that would sit still. LOL! Purses, glam bags, zippered bags, little girl's jackets and dresses, Pillows, various sized quilts, wall hangings, sewing machine covers and mats with pockets and the list goes on. The daintiest thing I quilted was the top of a night gown for my niece in a sweet baby pink and then made the gown with added trim. So cute.

I am recalling several years ago that I saw a photo of someone who had an old rusty car and had quilted a cover for it and somehow lacquered or put some kind of a finish over it, it was pretty cool!
