Fons and porter had one that was called Emily’s flower garden. I made the top but never finished it into a quilt.

Lovely, and yes 50 - 40, would love to know the name of the other block too.

It really looks like a Bonnie Hunter pattern.

I isolated the second block. It's really small, but someone may be able to ID it.

The second block looks like some variation of a churn dash, and when I googled that, one of the hits was this, which is very similar, but uses just a basic churn dash instead of this fancy one. Maybe your friend did something creative beyond what was in the pattern? http://www.maryquilts.com/new-churn-dash-stars/

Thank you so much everyone for all of your help and suggestions.
Rose_P - My friend is a wonderful piecer but never takes liberties with a pattern, unless I'm there to egg her on
And she made this one on her own with a definite pattern.
So if we can't figure it out by the time the quilt show comes, she can always enter it with the name of one of the blocks 50-40 and a note that explains that there is an additional unknown block and that it came from a magazine. Someone who sees it at the show may know.
I'll keep you posted along with a full photo of the quilted quilt.
Thanks again, you are all so helpful.
