Default Do you think your sewing machine is like your best friend

I have to say I do, I love sewing and it helps me, listens to me, works all the hard days out to relax and enjoy.
My private world, then again it is nice when Husband helps me or just sits and talks to me when I sew. I do have a 10 year old granddaughter who is learning to sew. We have fun too!

If my sewing machine is my best friend, we had a heck of a fight yesterday. Trying to finish up some FMQ and couldn't get the tension right, thread kept breaking, then I rethreaded it wrong, you name it. Stoopid small eye in the needle. I finally realized the biggest issue was that I didn't have enough light in the room.

Yes! My sewing machines are my best friends. We work hard together, and play hard together, and get a lot accomplished together.

No, but I would definitely call it a cherished tool.

When Hurricane Matthew was coming here, I packed 4 of my sewing machines to take away. When we got back, my DD asked me if I took anything important, like pictures and papers with us. I just laughed and told her that I hoped her Dad remember those kind of things. So, I guess you could say my sewing machines are my best friends!! LOL

I have a sign in my longarm room that reads "My longarm is my friend and my enemy!" So best friend--probably not. My Janome 6500, however, is a close friend.

My dogs are my best friends, but my sewing machines run a close second after them.

One of my friends who recently passed away, sewed up until a few weeks before she died. She said sewing made her feel better so she just kept sewing.

Sometimes yes and sometimes it's a battle. Depends on how tired I am.
