I believe this is why many, if not most, of us have multiple projects going on. It gives us the variety and when you come back to a project you have a fresh outlook on it.

[raising hand]

Me! Me! Sometimes nothing seems to be going right or I have too many other things going on in my life. Stepping away from a project lets me come back to it with a whole new perspective.

Yes me also. About 3 or 4 days , and I am ready to hit it full blast. I seem to go wide open for a long time and a break has to be taken. the longest was about 3 months, and I finally got back into it.
I think it's because when we are quilting for fun our creative juices flow, but when we quilt because we have to then it feels more like just another chore!
