[QUOTE=jitkaau;5352754]Each block looks similar to the whole 'Yo Gabba Gabba' quilt which is on Hoffman Site.I think you have made an excellent choice of colours and lay-out.

These are quilts, not blocks, with strip borders. ND Mom's block has squares on the outside, not strips. To me, that makes the block quite different from the quilts, so ND Mom's block is not a 'knock-off' of the quilts.

Thanks, Joanne! I went to the website and looked. I have to agree with you. There is one called Snow Day Frolic pattern which is more fit in what my quilt block look like. Thanks again for your comment!

Many ladies asked what kind of pattern this is. I can't answer the question. I saw a similar quilt here months ago and thought I'll give it a try with different colors. The border is my own design. I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a name for this pattern. If there is not, I'd like to call it North Dakota garden.

I came to US 24 years ago. I am a Chinese (US citizen for 15 years). I started learning quilting two years ago.

    Thanks!
Name it what you like! We may see it copied later!

Fascinating Quilt! As others have said, your eye for color is amazing. I'm pretty conservative in my fabric choices (my typical styles are: two color quilts, civil war prints, and very scrappy (200 or more fabrics). I am in awe of your quilt! Those pops of orange just "do it" for me and I never would have come up with that. I wish I had your talent.
