First thng in the morning I read all the posts that interest me and that's most of them. I read the posts all the way through that have information I'm interested in. If it's a post showing a quilt I may look at the quilt and read some messages commenting on it but not all if there are many pages. I'd like to read every comment but it's just too time consuming.

It depends on the topic. If someone has posted their work, their latest "find", is asking for opinions, etc., and there are pages and pages of posts, I may not read them all, just leave my compliments.
However if it is to do with a technique, a question, or the like, I'll read all the posts to make sure I understand thoroughly, and see what others have already contributed before posting a response.
For example, this thread is asking for a response regarding what I do, so I didn't feel a need to read all the responses before posting.

I usually read just the first page unless I want to comment. Then I read the whole thing so I don't duplicate something someone else has already said. I rarely comment on something that has many pages.

Only allow myself so much time a day to be on the computer so usually it's the first thing I do in the morning over coffee and toast. Check all the new topics for items of interest first and usually follow all the threads if I plan on making a comment unless it's a post asking for my personal opinion on something and then I will usually respond and might check back before I go to bed to see others opinions as well or if there are any PM's. Love to learn new things so if it's a question on how to do something either new or a new technique I'll read all the way through. If a topic becomes heated I'll leave.
