I think the one with no directions was probably (since was using bolts) for shops to make kits and there would have been other resources available for shop owners.

    Just a guess

Well, number 1, at that point, we were looking for a name for the pattern (that supplied it). Number 2, that is a fabric manufacturer/designer's site and they are giving the requirements for Quilting shops to make kits. They are also giving instructions of where to buy the pattern.

Thanks, Iceblossom. That is not a download That is a physical pattern to be shipped.

I'll try to find another shop, since you found several. However, it seems as if it is not sold as a download. (My guess is that some designers are so paranoid about pattern sharing, that they don't sell digital patterns.)

Rats! Usually with the PDF marking they are downloads and I have gotten multiple patterns that way. Most recently the Silk Path pattern from the Bonnie Hunter website.

I did go through the shopping cart at the sewinasylum and there was indeed a shipping charge.

Tried the previous link to fat quarter shop and it says there clearly that it is a downloadable patter. Maybe today will give better results?? At the bottom of the page in the description part, it specifically says download and gives PDF help links

Thanks everyone. I downloaded the pattern from the Fat Quarter Shop (Their site was not working for this pattern yesterday.). I'm not sure if I can adapt it to the "picture" size I have, but, at least, now I know.

Thanks, especially to IceBlossom (and of course, Janey) for all the help.

Yay! I'm so happy it worked for you today!!

The easiest thing is probably to frame your "pictures" to match the pattern size. Maybe there is a coordinating print? I've used grass design fabric before with sports fabrics, or maybe a black and white soccer ball print might work better with your panel. I looked some but didn't see the custom name fabrics any more on the Joann website, but maybe from another place like Spoonflower or other company. Of course, that would add both expense and time.

From what you described of your panel, they might be rather small for that to work well. You might want to include them as the center of a star block or more of a log cabin multi-log frame.

I would probably avoid changing the framing divisions (corner squares) on the pattern. Am guessing the pattern is made with 10" squares and maybe 1" for the black. But, you can break down the size of the white space between the black frames to be equal to the size of the squares.

I hope it works for your fabric. I don't know if the pdf that you received had the corrections. You may want to look at the corrections page at https://ivoryspring.wordpress.com/co...n-corrections/ as it says
It you purchased the pattern prior to September 15, 2023, please note the correction below (Page 3, Steps 3 and 4): Diagrams from steps 3 and 4 are incorrect. Text is correct
for the Squares Surrounding Squares which is near the top.

Thanks, Janey. I probably won't use the pattern, as it has too many little pieces for my patience level. It's really pretty, but I know my limits.
The panel will arrive today or tomorrow, so I'll see what's possible then.

Awww... I'm sorry you are feeling discouraged about your pattern.

When I was looking at things, I was wondering if your panel was designed by Quilting Treasures? Hancock's has coordinating fabrics and a Kit for this concept -- maybe it will turn your pattern decision into a different direction:
