Just have to say: how very nice of you.

I signed up for the Craftsy class on color in hopes it will help me with some of these dilemmas

Good idea! Have you started the class yet? What do you think of it?

Cute quilt! Just tossing an idea into the pool:

Then add a thin inner border of the brown to frame it before the monkey-border which would tie it all together nicely.

By the way, I'm admiring your POINTS! (Ok, that didn't come out QUITE the way it should have...)
Nice work on those! My first quilt pattern has pinwheels, too, and I'm hoping to be able to do them as nice as you've done here.

Teeler - Thanks for that suggestion! I'm still mulling it over to see what would work with the monkeys.

I've been using these two tutorials for my pinwheels:
http://quilting.about.com/od/quiltbl...el_quilt_2.htm
http://quilting.about.com/od/quickpi...uaretria_3.htm

I'm pretty happy with how they're turning out, especially since it's the first time I've attempted this pattern!
