I'd put a dk green stopper before binding with the black. I like the framed look personally. My quilter friend likes no border look. Either way it is outstanding!

I would bind it in the same sashing fabric used between the blocks. The quilt is super! I am sure the recipient will be delighted no matter how you finish it!

I"m a huge fan of green. Love it! I'd say just bind it and be done unless you want to make it larger.

do you know what size their bed is? I'd let that be my deciding factor.
If I did do a border, I agree, if you have more of that trellis fabric, that would look awesome and
you could bind with that sashing fabric.
You can't go wrong now. That's one RIGHT quilt!

I love it as is and would just bind it with something to set off the whole quilt - probably something dark.
