Your husband sounds just like mine, Grandma Sue!! My husband is retired a school custodian ( 38 years) and he is a cleaning machine!! Bathrooms are his thing...top to bottom....same thing I don't do them as well as he . He's great!! I too would not trade him for anything!!
Yes, we are very blessed, indeed.

My DH helps around the house when he can but his health is fast detiorating so helping is no longer an option. However when I head to the quilt shop (usually with friends) he asks if I have enough monty and when I get back he always says "is that all you bought" He is a keeper

My DH does his share of cooking, and does the dishes too! But if I ask him his opinion of something and I don't take his advice, he gets pretty miffed. He is an upholsterer so I guess he thinks his advice is from a "professional," but I figure that's all it is...his opinion. Mine is just as good! Till I retired, I too was an upholsterer, and more importantly by far, I am a QUILTER!
I've tried to get him interested in quilting, but he says after working all day with fabric he doesn't want to do it on his days off too...and call it fun!

Mic-pa, you better watch out, I'm coming to get your DH!!!

Mine not only helps me, he does his own...I taught him about 3 years ago, and he has made a bunch of quilts all on his own.

No. And that says it all. Okay, not quite all, he really likes my rotary cutters and thinks he might have other uses for them. I hide them.

My husband has the BEST color "eye" in the universe!!
I call down the stairs to him...."Honey can I use your Queer Eye?" (That was one of our favorite shows by the way!! My husband thought Carson was a riot!)
Anyway, he says he is going to start charging me for the help!

Only thing is, he roasts his own coffee, so any of the fabrics that have a coffee theme he has me buy!!! Like I need someone else adding to my stash!!!

Seriously, I consider myself VERY lucky!! ;)
