I think it's great, and very masculine. Don't know what his deal is, but my husband wants you to know he thinks you did a wonderful job and he wants you to find someone else who will appreciate the work you put into it and give it to him/her! [He's a carpenter/woodworker/teacher and he understands the work that goes into handcrafted gifts].

Oh well, now you know not to waste your time on making him anything. I have a DGS that would love it. He had a dog looked just like your picture...
