Red face doing my first quilt

I have done some bandana quilts and rag quilts in the past but that was years ago. I saw something on jelly roll quilts so I have started my first one but I made a mistake and bought a jelly roll that was not die cut so the pieces are not uniformed. I also bought some fat quarters to make my own jelly roll with colors I like for my fathers quilt. Once i finish these 2 I am looking at paper piecing. I am excited about all of this. Wish me luck.
