That's true, Twinkie, but I've done about 18 different 16" blocks now after doing a sampler of 6" blocks (about 100) and there are soooo many more to play with! My bed has two quilts, family all has some and I have no more wall space! Enjoy your day!!

Wonderful small block. Your piecing is awesome. Did you trim and press your seams open? It is so flat, there is a bit of talent to do that.

ube, I do paper piecing with freezer paper and nested my seams on this one. (I often do press open) I made the vodka home-made Best Press with a tad of starch and find it gives a good crisp, flat seam. Thanks for asking!

Awesome block! I was given donated batik scraps several years ago and I am trying to use them in bigger blocks and the same color scraps aren't big enough and/or numerous enough. . I will be checking out the 6" blocks on Quilter's Cache.
