Yep. Right now I've got the little cheapy one from Joann, but it's several years old and starting to get a bit dull. I might just have to go upgrade in the near future. ;D

It took me three days to make one block pattern to come out the correct size. I could not figure out what was wrong. So I went and took the whole thing apart with my seam ripper, and then resewed it back together this morning. I am not sure what I did but the block came out to be the correct size this time.

Got to love those seam rippers!

Yeap me too. I need one to wear around my neck.
I agree with you about having to wear a seam ripper around your neck. Mine seem to keep walking away from me, and I am the only one in the house. And my ruler keeps coming up missing and I just used the thing. Mine me, but how can I not see a 6"x24" ruler.

I probably have as many rippers as I do needles. Just like scissors, I don't spend time looking for them, I open my notion stash box and get a new one. The lost ones show up eventually and find their way to the stash box. I have a continual cycle with misplacing/finding notions.
