Both are lovely. It's going to be a beautiful quilt but I'm leaning toward #1. I like the flow better to the center flower.

I find it easier to see and enjoy the pattern in the first block.

I agree with DogHouseMom. Had to look at it a few times to see why the first one was more pleasing to me, but it is because it opens the quilt up, in my eyes anyway.

I like the 2nd one, but after reading the posts, the 1st one does draw the eyes to the floral

OK I am , read all the post so I went back to take another look. My first thought was #1 after looking again I liked the solid look of #2. So I will go with whatever you have deceided. Is that a cop out? They both look very pretty and you will have a beautiful quilt when finished. Main thing is you were able to get all the fabric you needed. Kudos to the clerk who remembered the fabric. Good luck with the project. BrendaK

I like them both, but I think I like the second one better. It seems to be more uniform or something. Can't quite put my finger on it. But, I love your choice of fabrics. Beautiful!
