So, I was off at Joann on Saturday. I needed some girl time and had some money to spare haha

When I came across this transformers fabric. Since I wanted to make hubby a quilt I thought it was perfect (we both share a love for transformers!)

So I picked it up along with some red fabric and some yellow fabric.

The only thing I am stuck on is a quilt pattern to use. I really want to showcase the transformers fabric and I have 1 yard of each. Here are the fabrics. Your comments are much appreciated!!

and the red is deep but bright with a design that looks like dragon scales on it.

Edit: and here is the quilt I was thinking of possibly making:

    Hi Sugarpumpkin,

The fabrics are cool.... I think the pattern you have chosen will look great for your fabric. Should go FAST..

I thought it would showcase the transformers quilt well.
And also, I was thinking, that if I machine it fast, I can take my time on the quilting and possibly handquilt a design.
I was thinking of doing the transformers logo as the quilting pattern.

That will be Great... I did a quilt for my daughter when she turned Sweet 16 and in the border I quilted all of her favorite things from TV shows to boys to pets...she loved it.

    Happy quilting,
