He is super fast! Well actually he becomes single minded. Once he starts quilting, he pretty much keeps going until he is done.

He has another top to quilt this weekend. He made it for his mother for her 80th birthday this coming December... but it is now a memory quilt. She died very unexpectedly 3 weeks ago.

I'm sorry to hear that he lost his mother Barb. He sure did a wonderful job on his quilt! I love the fabrics and those blues are so soothing. It's really a pretty quilt. :)

The fabric is winter themed.. snow and mittens such. He stitched in the ditch on the 9 patches and then continued the lines in the single fabric blocks.

I just love those gentle colors. I, too, need some quilting done.

I'm sorry about the loss of a mother. Sounds like he had her a good long time.

Wow he did a great job, I love the colors and the layout! When I first saw it I thought, it would be nice if my husband quilted with me, then.........I thought "Oh no......we would fight over machine time, materials, rulers, accessories and all that good stuff! lol! How do you and your husband manage?
