Thanks for the lovely comments everyone. The little hexies will stay. Now I just have to figure out how to quilt it....

I've quilted all over arcs along the seams of the hexies, which might be a good starting point. Feathers on that border for sure. Please post when it's done!

When you quilt the arcs, does it end up looking like flower petals inside the hexies? I was thinking of trying something like that since the majority of the quilt is made from a flower design. And feathers... oh man I'm going to have to do some practicing!
