I made a duvet for my feather coverlet and wondered if anyone has any ideas how to fasten the corners so it stay in place. I seems the blanket shifts over to one side of the duvet and there is nothing on the other side just the 2 cotton sides. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Could you put buttons or snaps on the corners to hold it?

I have tacked the corners or used small saftey pins to hold it in place. When I know the cover won't need to be cleaned often (like in my guest room) I'll tack all corners and a spot or 2 along each seam.

I did one using ties on each corner of the comfortor and ties at each inside corner. Tied them together and then added a large pin to help secure the tie ends . Seemed to work fine.

I also make my own with two twin sheets, and then I use snaps. Works like a charm. I just have to remember that the snaps go at the feet. My husband likes my making them because I can save money. Edie
