    Backed it with a $2 sheet I got at Salvation Army, sewed shoestrings to the inside the duvet & the outside of my down comforter, tied them together to keep the comforter in place inside the duvet. Used velcro on the bottom to keep the top & bottom together. Was fun.

    I used 25 batik fat quarters so it would be big enuf.

    Buzzy is the reason I made it - my comforter was always dirty where he slept. Now I can wash the duvet more often.

    That's gorgeous annmarie! I love all those batiks you used....say, my comforter needs a new cover too...hmmmmm....!

    Gorgeous!! I love batiks, and have some that you used in your duvet. Buzzy looks very happy on his new duvet. :D :D
