I must say. This is probably one of the funnest things I've ever done. I love this pattern, and the possibilities, of course, are endless with this one. I am definately going to do more, and add some of my own variations here and there.

So here is my Turning Twenty, displayed on my work staircase because there was no room at home, and held by my best friend, Jay...

Very nice color choice. You did a very good job on it. :!: I do love that pattern. I'm starting one for me after Christmas (and I'm keeping it) have all the fabric just need to get done with the Handprint quilts first.

I'd love to get this stippled... but I don't know how "I would afford it... and I can't do it on my machine.

I've seen several Turning 20 quilts. I like yours a lot. But I don't know where it gets its name. Is it because there are 20 blocks that seem to be turned different directions?

It's lovely! But I, too would like to know the origin of the name.

I "think" it's because you can turn 20 fats quarters into a quilt.

    Nice one BTW

That is a nice quilt. Is it for yourself or for the one who's helping to model it?

That is a great quilt and the colours are good. I love that pattern too, I am working on one of those right now myself in flannel. Mine ended up being a turning 16 because I got the cut fabric from a friend for my birthday and that was what was left...we miscalculated and I had them all sewn together before we realized that I only had 16, but she got her 20 and so hers is bigger than mine, but that is ok with me. lol when I get it done I will post a pic. The top is finished, just getting ready to sandwich it now.
