Well, looking good! You got some great deals. What a disappointment about the staff - that's half the fun of a quilt store - chatting, getting tips and ideas and bonding over fabric...

NICE, NICE!
I love the scenery one. Is that Michael Miller? You could do the garden gate thing with that one. Use the rocks and the gate and make it like you are wandering upon it. Know what I mean?
I think on the Michael Miller site there's a quilt that will show you what I am thinking about

WOW!!! You did great!!! and I was right.. you had to make extra trips to bring it all in.. :D

So sorry to hear about Keepsakes.. that's just not right...and really sad...that's half the fun of going to a fabric store... chatting with others who love sewing/quilting...
BUT YAY on the new Quilt shop find... that's always a plus and since you didn't get to buy but one thing in there (and a beautiful pattern at that) you'll just have to go back again..

Thank you for sharing all your pretties...I so love looking... :-)

Nice addition to your stash. I have heard that about Keepsake - also that their fabric is not displayed like in the catalog, so it is hard to find the coordinating pieces. I'll get there some day, but large stores aren't my cup of tea.

I feel in love with the Hollyhock quilt pattern too. Fons and Porter dif not have the kit or fabric for it when I called. I found one panel of the hollyhocks online. I hope you bought the fabric if you saw it at the shop or have them mail it to you while it available. I don't think much of it was printed.

That's bad about the non caring sales clerk. I'd send an email and let the manager know about it.

I have only been to the keepsake store there in costa mesa, ca. But that is one beautiful store with more lovely things to buy than one store has a right to have. LOL! I even bought little dodads that sit around there too. One is a blue glass slipper, I love.

I hope you show what you buy. So neat of a day you have planned.

Edited to say I should have read the whole thread first ... LOL! What a haul you got! WOWIE! great fabrics, girl. How fun.

I get their catalog and can't even imagine going to their store. Just the thought of all that beautiful fabric and kits...... enjoy the trip for the rest of us who have to work today (while dreaming of quilting).
