    Default Ideas needed for quilt

I bought some Ford Mustang fabric to make a quilt along with a panel.
    http://www.thespiderswebfabricshop.c...fordtruckscars
It is both the blue and the white mustang fabric and the panel. I am wanting ideas on how to combine them for a quilt for my hubby--my mustang lover!!!
I am usually just a lurker but am needing ideas.
    Thanks!!!!

I ran into the same situation when my husband wanted a quilt with camping scenes. I found a fabric and a panel from the same line. Now how to turn it into a quilt? I started thinking scrapbook pages. I framed the scenes and panel designs like pictures in a scrapbook page. I used fabrics that looked like tree bark for the frames and one that looked like birch bark for the background. I wish I had a picture but right now it's packed away in the camper for the winter. All our camping friends liked it. I don't know if that will work for you. Some times you just have to think outside the box as they say.

I made a Warm Wishes pattern with Corvette fabric for a raffle for our Corvette Club. Let me see if I can find it. It could work for you.

Make a attic window with the panel http://www.favequilts.com/Winter-Qui...ene-Quilt/ml/1
then you can do borders or 'snapshots' with the shadowbox method http://madanquilting.blogspot.com/.
