Question Elongated Grandmother's Flower Garden. Maybe???

This is the quilt top my friend found in a box at the sale barn for $1.00. I've got most of the blocks sewn together but not all as you can tell.

Does anyone know the name of this quilt? I was thinking something along the line of "elongated grandmother's flower garden" but not sure. Right now, I just refer to it as "the friendship garden" quilt but would like to know the actual name if possible.

Thanks for your help, it's appreciated!

What beautiful colors! I am working on a hexagon quilt top now that is in the diamond shapes. Just need to do the half diamonds for the edges. I'm not aware of a name for it, but am leaning towards Tartan's idea, GFG variation. What size are the hexagons? And are they english paper pieced? Your's looks like springtime! Lucky find. My quilt will be a wedding gift for the next Grand to marry, and I am naming it "Diamonds are Forever"

Sister-in-law has one like this she bought at small antique store. Hers was straight along the sides and left jagged on ends. Has local LAQ finish for her. It is beautiful. No one had seen one like it. Lucky you to find one also. Pretty colors.

Don't know the exact name but there is something about "trellis" in connection with this variation. It is very pretty!

What I was able to find it was called: "Diamond Double Ring" Hexagon.

Thank you all for your kind words. Never heard of "Diamond Double Rig" hexagon but the name works for me, although I think I'll stick with the unofficial name of "Friendship Garden" since it was my dear friend many states away that found and sent the quilt pieces to me. The fabrics are all in pastel colors, blocks don't appear to have been paper pieced nor any fussy cutting done. I'm hoping to finish the top, hand quilt and display the quilt for everyday enjoyment. I am blessed to have this quilt (pieces and all!) to be given to me as it is really very sweet and pretty!
