Hi I'm new. just ran onto this quilting forum. I was looking for some inspiration for embellishing a quilt that I made from my mothers many hankies. some of them are very busy but some of them have big spaces in the middle. I have some of her old jewelry and I thought that might work. also some antique buttons Any suggestions? :roll:

Search for crazy quilts. That should give you lots of ideas.

It would be like a memory quilt add things your Mom Had, I think it sounds great. This will be very special. There is no right or wrong in quilting...you do want u want and like :D :D :D
