Just beautiful!! What a treasure and how wonderful that you have the history of the quilt and all who contributed to it.

This is stunning! I like to do embroidery too and I'm always looking for beautiful ways to make quilts from embroidered blocks. I love the gray neutral sashing, it really lets the baskets shine for themselves.

You did a fantastic job of extending the life of the quilt blocks and keeping this heirloom in the family!

Beautiful work on that quilt - love what you have done with it and how the label tells the history. What a treasure.

Almost (but not quite!) the fabulous label is the most amazing part of this heirloom quilt! How blessed the maker would be to know how cared for her quilt has been. Beautiful work all around!
