I am new to this forum and am interested in getting an embroidery machine without breaking the bank. They all seem so expensive. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I bought a brother se350 from Amazon.com about a year ago. I love it! It only has a 4x4 hoop area but that is big enough for me. I paid less than $400.00 for it. Tho you do want to get the PED basic to download from the internet and that is about $120.00 more.

I got a Pfaff. It sews and embroiders so it is my all purpose machine. I love it. I have heard good things about the Brother though.

wal-mart has the brother for about 350 got one at christmas and love it

Does anyone have the Pfaff Creative Vision embroidery machine? Is it worth the money and would anyone purchases a used one?
How much additional software does a person need to run the machine?
