    Has anyone ever seen this pattern anywhere?

    I've also seen this pattern called "You've Got Mail" and is a tutorial on the Missouri Star Quilt Co website and YouTube

    Yes, I've seen the pattern. However, I have never made it or even one similar to it.

    years ago i made one with flaps for the envelope triangle. not sure what the pattern was, too long ago.

    The Missouri Star pattern is quite different. I like this one a lot better.

    I hadn't considered doing paper piecing...I haven't had much luck with it...but I might give it a go to try this.
