If you have been designing quilts by hand you will love the tools that come with it -- I am NOT an artist so most of the stuff I do is "copy". It gives you a lot of flexability by scanning in pictures and fabric; I can see what fabrics are going to look like together before I am half way through my project!!! If you like to applique, it will let you draw the design and then make it into separate pieces to print!!! My next investment will be purchasing the blockbase software. It is a collection of quilts made 1835 to '70 -- I just got my Dear Jane software yesterday so it will be a while before I can afford anything else -- there's plenty between the two programs to keep me busy. Hope you have fun with EQ too! e
